G2LD collaborated with PDR on this 378,000 sq ft campus for HPI, which bases its design around the physical and emotional health of its 2,300 employees. This forward-thinking project was the physical reflection of a culture shift as HPI separated from HP Enterprises. The company has 52 business units, which had largely been separate before. HPI desired a new facility which encouraged collaboration, communication, and innovation through a careful balance of private vs. public spaces, and work focused vs. recreation-focused spaces. Lighting was chosen to help in defining these different areas as well as assist with wayfinding throughout the extensive campus. Additionally, controls , light levels, and color temperature all were chosen to contribute positively to the employees physical comfort, and energy levels.
