A.D. Players is a 113,000 square feet performance art complex sitting on a four-acre site just west of Houston's Galleria. 33,000 square feet of the program--including the main theatre and lobby, offices, scene shop, green room, and cast dressing rooms--encompass the first phase, which was completed in 2017. G2LD was responsible for all architectural lighting throughout including the theatrical house lights, boardroom, restrooms, facade, parking, landscape, and lobby, with its central 'drum'. The cylindrical centerpiece was lit with a continuous LED wallwash on 2 levels to ensure that the geometrical form could be read through the front curtain wall of glass by those passing by in this busy urban area.
